Sat 27 May - EMPIREII: Venice, the Biennale and the British Fringe

Glenn Fitzy Fitzgerald and Gzillion Artist are two of over hundred international artists taking part in Empire II, an artist led video project on the age of anxiety curated by Vanya Balogh and devised for the 57th La Biennale Di Venezia. Having premiered in Brussels, the exhibition now is established adjacent to the Giardini and is open to visitors. Fitzy and Gzillion share their impressions of the multiple works and the experience of being a participating artist in the vernissage of the Biennale. Sat 13 May - Venice, Biennale and Empire 2: THE BRITISH FRINGE

Montague Armstrong report from Venice from the artist-led satellite project EMPIREII on the fringe of the Biennale. EMPIREII is a series of films on the Age of Anxiety curated by Vanya Balogh. Empire II screens will confront us with ideas on climate change, politics of attrition, immigration, narcissism, sex, despair, loss of identity, addiction, violence, false economics, digital rape, cyber crime, space travel, pollution, death, consumerism and changing theoretical science (what is coming?).
